Frédéric Léglise
In the past few years, I have spontaneously and systematically photographed flowers in vases and small natural paths around Paris.
I take photos when I encounter them throughout the day, and their colors and shapes bring me a deep sense of inner calm.
Recently, I began to paint from these images within my "close-up" series, where enlarged mouths and eyes engage in an abstract and colorful dialogue with the flowers.
These colorful motifs present softness and well-being, acting as an inner landscape that reveals the nature of benevolence and welcomingness that embraces our being.
